Welcome to a CMES Research Seminar with Noah Salomon (University of Virginia) on the use of ancient history in Sudan's 2018-19 revolution.

Speaker Bio

Noah Salomon is Associate professor in Islamic Studies at the University of Virginia and the author of For Love of the Prophet: An Ethnography of Sudan's Islamic State. During the 2024-5 academic year, he is a visiting research fellow in Islamic Studies at the Centre for Theology and Religious Studies at Lund University.
