Practical information

Welcome to the SNES Conference 2024 at Lund University. Below you will find practical information regarding the conference and your stay in Lund, alongside other pertinent information.

Finding your way around

The conference will be held at the Department of Political Science, Allhelgona Kyrkogata 14, Hus H, Eden. Eden is situated close to the center of Lund and the central station.

Hotel

Accommodation at Hotel Concordia in central Lund will be offered for each participant from a member institution when they register for the conference. The hotel is located at Stålbrogatan 1. 

If you have requested a room through the registration form, you will receive information about your stay and check-in via mail.

Travel and Transport

Each member institution is responsible for booking its own travel to and from Lund. A joint invoice for the travel expenses should be submitted to SNES by the respective member institution.

To buy a ticket from the Malmö Airport to Lund, you can visit Swedavia's website.
To buy a ticket from Copenhagen Airport to Lund, you can visit Skanetrafiken's website.

It takes about 13 minutes to walk from the hotel to Eden. If you prefer the bus, the local bus (line 6 towards Ringhornegränden) leaves from "Lund Stortorget", and the closest stop is "Lund Domkyrkan".  

Internet Connection

Lund University uses Eduroam

If your university is not affiliated with Eduroam, you can use Lund University's network called LU Guest. You connect to the network by registering your phone number and name. You will receive a text message with an access code.
